The Whisky Bowmore 1997 25 yo Cask Strength Symington’s Choice comes from the famous Bowmore distillery, located on the island of Islay, known for its single malts characterized by a balanced combination of peaty and maritime notes.

This spirit, obtained from a careful selection of high-quality casks, has been aged for a quarter of a century, a time that has allowed the whisky to develop extraordinary complexity while maintaining its typical elegance. The maturation in cask strength enhances the aromatic intensity without any dilution, offering a powerful sensory experience, rich in smoky, iodine notes and a pleasant sweetness derived from the wood.

On the palate it reveals itself soft and complex, with hints of delicate peat, fine spices, and notes of dried fruit and honey. The persistent aftertaste recalls the sea breeze and a slightly salty nuance typical of the Islay territory. Perfect for those who love to taste whiskies with great character, this Bowmore pairs excellently with smoked fish dishes or medium-aged cheeses, thus enhancing its structure and unique aromas.
