Made with a selection of fine malts, the Distiller’s Select #1 matures in American and Caribbean oak barrels, imparting a rich and varied aromatic profile. On the nose, it opens with intense scents of vanilla, honey, and tropical fruits, anticipating a soft and velvety structure, accompanied by sweet notes of caramel and a slight hint of spices. The taste is enveloping, with a perfect balance between woody notes and a delicate mineral freshness, leading to a long and persistent finish, slightly smoky.
Ideal to be savored neat, this whisky also lends itself to complex food pairings, accompanying smoked meat dishes or aged cheeses, where it can express all its intensity and unique character.
