The Whisky Linkwood 2012 12 yo Cask Strength by Signatory represents an intense and refined expression of the historic Scottish distillery in Dufftown, famous for its elegant and aromatic single malts. Produced exclusively from malted barley and matured for twelve years, this spirit reveals the essence of the Speyside region, known for its pure waters and ideal climate that give its malts a fresh and fruity character.

The Cask Strength version preserves the original power of the spirit intact, offering an enveloping and complex tasting experience. On the nose, notes of honey, citrus, and dried fruit stand out, accompanied by light floral nuances and hints of sweet spices. On the palate, the structure is full, with a harmonious balance between sweetness and intensity, while the long finish leaves traces of vanilla, oak wood, and a pleasant spicy persistence.

A whisky ideal for those seeking authenticity and richness of aromas, perfect to enjoy neat or with a splash of water to enhance its delicate nuances. Also excellent paired with dishes based on smoked meat or aged cheeses, where its complexity will be best expressed.
