The Macallan 12Y Triple Cask Whisky is a prestigious distillate, matured in three different types of barrels: European oak ex-sherry, American oak ex-sherry, and American ex-bourbon. This aging method bottles elegance, complexity, and depth, giving the whisky a distinctive character and an exceptionally smooth flavor.
The color is a clear and bright gold. On the nose, the Macallan 12Y Triple Cask reveals notes of citrus and vanilla, with an underpinning of fresh fruit and sweet spices. On the palate, it opens with an enveloping sweetness of fruit and caramel, followed by a light hint of ginger and nutmeg, which confer a refined complexity. The finish is long and smooth, with a lingering taste of milk chocolate and orange.
Presented in an elegant gift box, the Macallan 12Y Triple Cask is an ideal choice for whisky lovers seeking a rich and varied tasting experience. Perfect as a sophisticated gift or to celebrate special occasions, it adds a touch of class to any spirits collection.

Ageing
Maturation in oak casks with heavy use of sherry‑seasoned casks (Jerez, often Oloroso); combined use of European and American oak and of ex‑bourbon casks. Many casks are seasoned with Oloroso in Jerez before arriving in Scotland.
