The Whisky Peated Lacken by Waterford embodies the perfect meeting between Irish tradition and modern experimentation. Produced in the historic Waterford region, known for its unique terroir and very fertile lands, this single malt stands out for its unmistakable peated note, rare in Ireland. The carefully selected barley variety grows in this territory, contributing to an intense and complex character.

The aging process takes place in oak barrels that previously contained fine wines, giving the distillate elegant scents of dried fruit, vanilla, and a very light spiciness. On the nose, it reveals an enveloping bouquet with hints of wood smoke, aromatic herbs, and a touch of honey. On the palate, the peat is present but never overwhelming, balanced by a malty sweetness and a soft, warm texture that invites slow tasting.

This whisky pairs perfectly with dishes based on smoked meats or aged cheeses, but even on its own, it is a rich and enveloping sensory experience, ideal for those looking for an Irish whisky different from the usual.
