The maturation takes place in selected barrels that give the liquid a light, bright golden color, and a rich, structured aromatic bouquet. On the nose, the Yukisato Single Grain opens with delicate notes of vanilla and caramel, followed by hints of dried fruit and a light touch of spices, reminiscent of cinnamon and white pepper.
On the palate, this whisky is surprisingly smooth, with a sweet entry that slowly evolves into a medium complexity. The vanilla notes blend with hints of biscuit and honey, while a light spicy pinch persists, perfectly balancing the initial sweetness.
The finish is long and pleasantly lingering, with a closure that leaves an impression of elegance and freshness, making it an ideal choice for a sophisticated after-dinner treat or as a sophisticated base for innovative cocktails.
This whisky not only tells the story of Japanese distillation through its flavor but is also a testament to the love and dedication that distillery artisans put into creating a superior quality product. Suitable for lovers of single grain whisky or for those looking for an intriguing novelty in the distilled spirits panorama.
