Pays D'Auge Lecompte

Maison Lecompte was founded in 1923 by Alexandre Lecompte, initially a wine and spirits merchant in Normandy. After World War II his son Alexandre took over the business (1945) and, a few years later, introduced the house's first alambic à repasse. Over the century the Maison established itself as a recognized name in the Calvados Pays d'Auge scene, offering aged expressions (5, 12, 18, 25 years) and several vintages.

Pursuit of artisanal excellence, balance between elegance and complexity, focus on traditional double distillation and the selection of stills and small casks to produce distinctive calvados, then matured and blended by the maître de chai.
