Producer history Zedda

Founded in 1854 in Alghero by Francesco Zedda Piras, the company began as a winemaking concern and in the early 20th century increasingly focused on traditional Sardinian liqueurs, in particular mirto. Zedda Piras products received recognition at international exhibitions already by the late 19th century. In the 1990s the company was integrated into the Sella & Mosca group and was later acquired in 2002 by Gruppo Campari, which expanded its national and international distribution.
