Felline Primitivo di Manduria DOP presents a bold, enveloping character: in the glass ripe black fruit emerges, plum and cherries preserved in spirits, supported by a warm sensation that doesn’t detract from its clarity. The color is intense ruby, with violet highlights that betray generous ripeness, while the bouquet suggests spicy notes, a touch of pepper and hints of cocoa without weighing it down; the whole remains balanced thanks to an acidity that preserves freshness and liveliness.

On the palate the sip is full, with body and substance, featuring polished tannins and a softness that invites a second taste. The persistence is good, with fruity echoes and a slightly saline finish that cleanses the palate; it pairs well with structured dishes such as grilled meats, stews and aged cheeses, but also stands up to more savory preparations. A wine with an immediate yet not banal character, it fits both convivial dinners and alongside rich courses; serve at around 16-18°C in a large glass, opening the bottle a few minutes beforehand to allow the aromatic profile to express itself.
