Pairing Red meats, roasts, aged cheeses
Alberello Salento Rosso IGP by Felline presents a bright ruby color and an immediate aromatic profile: ripe red fruits interweave with darker notes and a slight spicy hint, with a touch of Mediterranean scrub that gives character without weighing it down. On the palate it shows body and good freshness, a balance between softness and a savory tannin that structures the sip; the texture is pleasantly velvety and the finish remains clean, inviting a second glass in its straightforward, effective simplicity.

It pairs naturally with hearty dishes such as grilled meats, roasts and ragù, but also stands up well to aged cheeses and preparations based on mushrooms or roasted peppers. Serve roughly at 16-18 °C and prefer a large glass to fully capture its profile; opening the bottle a few minutes beforehand helps release the aromas. Also excellent for an informal dinner with rustic boards: it’s a red wine that can feel familiar while still delivering sensory satisfaction, without unnecessary pretension.
