The Lambrusco Di Sorbara DOC Leclisse from the Paltrinieri winery represents one of the highest expressions of Lambrusco, an indigenous grape variety from Emilia-Romagna. This sparkling red wine stands out for its bright cherry-red color with purplish hues. The production takes place through natural fermentation in steel vats, preserving the fragrant and fruity essence of the grape variety.

In the glass, the Lambrusco Di Sorbara DOC Leclisse opens with a vibrant bouquet of fresh flowers, raspberry, and a hint of blood orange. On the palate, it offers a surprising freshness with pleasant acidity and flavors reminiscent of wild berries and violets. The fine and persistent bubble enhances the tasting experience, making this wine particularly suitable to accompany typical Emilia dishes, such as cured meats, tortellini in broth, and semi-aged cheeses.

Ideal as an aperitif, the Lambrusco Di Sorbara DOC Leclisse from Paltrinieri is also the perfect choice to accompany a summer outdoor dinner. Its light body and fresh effervescence make it a pleasantly drinkable beverage, capable of satisfying the palate and enlivening the table.

Winery history
The Paltrinieri family has been producing Lambrusco in Sorbara for generations: the original enterprise dates back to 1926 and, since 1998, has been run directly by Alberto Paltrinieri together with his wife Barbara. Over time the estate has developed its vineyards and cellar while maintaining a strong connection to the local Sorbara tradition.
Production philosophy
The estate favors an approach that highlights the territory and the vintage’s natural characteristics: carefully calibrated vineyard interventions, respect for the seasons, and winemaking designed to emphasize the acidity, floral character and minerality typical of Lambrusco di Sorbara. In the cellar, techniques range from natural refermentation to sparkling methods to express the grape’s different facets.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located in the hamlet of Sorbara, in the narrow strip of land between the Secchia and Panaro rivers. The soils are generally loose, with silty‑sandy components typical of the area.
