Descrizione

The Pinot Nero DOC Riserva "Puntay" from Erste+Neue is a red wine that shows a medium ruby colour, which can trend toward garnet with age. On the nose it offers an elegant, restrained profile: scents of ripe red berries, delicate floral notes and lightly spicy hints. The aromatic component is balanced and suggests a refined structure without exaggeration. Of good elegance.

On the palate it shows defined but soft tannins, with acidity that supports the tasting and a harmonious progression toward a finish of good persistence. It pairs with dishes based on lighter meats, selected cured meats and medium-aged cheeses; it can be served slightly cooler than room temperature, around 16–18 °C. It is a label to be enjoyed slowly, either in the months after purchase or kept for a few years in the cellar if one seeks more evolved notes.
