The Sauvignon Alto Adige DOC from Erste+Neue appears in a bright straw color with a restrained aromatic profile: varietal notes of citrus, delicate floral hints and a subtle herbaceous touch reminiscent of fresh leaves are present. The expression is measured and clean, favoring the grape’s freshness rather than opulent or oak-driven features. On the palate it shows lively acidity, a saline thread and a lean structure that keeps the sip easy and pleasant through the finish. A versatile white, it pairs well with raw seafood, composed salads, vegetable dishes and fresh cheeses, and works for a modest aperitif. Serve well chilled but not ice-cold to allow the aromas to open; storage and pairings can be adjusted according to personal taste and the menu.
