The Rosso IGT Madreselva from Casale Del Giglio presents itself as an accessible, well-balanced red wine. Visually it shows a lively ruby color with violet hints. On the nose there are fruity aromas of small red berries and hints of riper fruit, accompanied by light floral notes and delicate spices. The olfactory texture is linear, with good intensity without being overloaded, offering an immediate profile that invites tasting.

On the palate it is smooth, with moderate tannins and a structure that supports the sip without weighing it down; freshness keeps the finish flowing. It is suitable for everyday drinking and for simple dishes such as cold cuts, fresh cheeses, rustic soups and pasta with meat sauces; it is also appropriate for informal gatherings and preparations with mushrooms and white meats. Serve at a slightly cool temperature for red wines (around 16–18 °C) and preferably in a wide glass that enhances the aroma. A versatile choice for those seeking a pleasant-to-drink Rosso IGT.

“The future of Italian viticulture relies not only on consolidating the image of its traditional wine producing zones but on its ability to produce top quality wines at favourable prices in areas whose potential is still relatively unexplored.” (from the winery presentation).

Located in the Agro Pontino valley, between Aprilia and Latina (Le Ferriere), about 50 km south of Rome; maritime-influenced climate. The estate lists about 180 hectares of vineyards, converted to cordon training and planted with both local and international varieties.
