Winery history Marie Copinet

Family-run winery inherited by the Copinet family; the domaine was started in the 1970s by Jacques Copinet and is now run by Marie-Laure Copinet alongside her husband Alexandre Kowal-Copinet. Over time production has shifted towards cuvées linked to individual lieux-dits and low-intervention cellar practices.

Production philosophy

Seeking to express different terroirs through careful, low‑intervention winemaking: the use of various ageing vessels and experimentation with yeasts and techniques that enhance the typicity and freshness of the grape variety. In recent years, vineyard work has shifted toward organic management and greater biodiversity.

Terroir and vineyards

The vineyards extend across parcels located in the Côte de Sézanne, the Côte des Bar and the Vallée de la Marne, including lieux-dits such as La Ruelle des Loups and other local parcels that characterize the individual cuvées.

Awards and recognitions

Various recognitions and scores from guides and competitions; presence of medals and positive reviews in specialized publications.
