Zibibbo Jasmin by Firriato is a Sicilian white wine that captures the essence of the ancient vineyards of Pantelleria. This wine is made exclusively from Zibibbo grapes, also known as Moscato di Alessandria, which are grown on volcanically rich mineral soils on the famous island located between Sicily and Tunisia.

The winemaking process of Zibibbo Jasmin is meticulously curated to enhance the natural aromatic characteristics of the grape. The grapes are hand-harvested with careful selection of the best clusters, marking the beginning of a gentle fermentation at controlled temperatures to preserve the varietal aromas and the fruity integrity of the wine.

The result is a straw-yellow wine with greenish reflections, extremely bright. On the nose, Zibibbo Jasmin offers an intensely aromatic bouquet dominated by notes of white flowers, particularly jasmine, from which it takes its name, and nuances of tropical fruits such as mango and papaya, complemented by slight touches of aromatic herbs. On the palate, the wine presents itself as fresh and balanced, with a pleasant acidity that balances its structure and leads to a persistently aromatic finish.

Zibibbo Jasmin by Firriato is a wine that celebrates the richness and diversity of the terroir of Pantelleria, perfect to accompany elaborate fish dishes, spicy cuisine, or as an elegant aperitif. Its aromatic complexity also makes it an excellent companion for vegetarian dishes rich in aromatic herbs.

Winery history
Founded as a family project by Salvatore Di Gaetano in the 1980s, Firriato has grown by expanding its presence across multiple estates in Sicily and bringing the island’s wines to international markets. The family has remained actively involved in technical supervision and brand development, over time establishing estates dedicated to production, ampelographic research and hospitality.
Production philosophy
The winery pursues an approach focused on respect for the land: careful selection of soils, promotion of local grape varieties and sustainability-focused agricultural management. Firriato declares the conversion of its vineyards to organic farming and has undertaken initiatives to offset and reduce the company's climate footprint.
Terroir and vineyards
The company's holdings are distributed across several estates that represent different terroirs: the hills of the Agro Trapanese, the slopes of Mount Etna and the maritime viticulture of the island of Favignana. The individual estates mentioned in the sources include Baglio Sorìa, Borgo Guarini, Dàgala Borromeo, Pianoro Cuddìa, Giudeo, Cavanera Etnea and Tenuta di Calamoni in Favignana.
