The Campo Del Palio Moscato d’Asti DOCG produced by Cantine Povero is an exquisite example of Moscato from the sunny hills of Piedmont. This wine stands out for its bright straw yellow color with golden reflections, and its fine and elegant perlage that gently caresses the palate. On the nose, it opens with a rich bouquet of fruity notes, where clear accents of white peach and nectarine are distinguished, complemented by floral nuances of acacia and wisteria.

On the palate, the Moscato d’Asti Campo Del Palio is sweet, fresh, and harmoniously balanced with a slight effervescence that refreshes the palate and intensifies the flavors. Well-balanced in acidity, it offers a pleasantly aromatic and persistent finish that invites another sip.

This wine is perfect as an aperitif or to accompany light desserts, fresh fruit, or fine pastries. Its elegance and light effervescence make it an ideal companion for festive moments or special celebrations, creating a joyful and sophisticated atmosphere. Cantine Povero recommends serving this jewel at a temperature of 6-8°C to fully appreciate its quality and nuances.

Winery history
The Povero family has been rooted in the Piedmont region since the first half of the 19th century: land purchased in 1837, grandfather Bartolomeo planted vineyards in 1948, and in 1964 the sons began bottling under the family name. In the years that followed the estate expanded, and from the late 1990s it undertook conversion to organic viticulture, completed with certification covering the main vineyards.
Production philosophy
Sustainability and respect for the land guide the company's practices: organic vineyard management, conservation of woodlands to support biodiversity, and cellar practices aimed at reducing environmental impact while preserving the expressive character of the grape varieties.
Terroir and vineyards
Based in Cisterna d'Asti, at the crossroads of the Langhe, Roero and Monferrato, with varied soils that characterize both white and red wines typical of Piedmont.
