The Vermentino di Gallura Superiore DOCG Li Muri by Bacchjera is born in the granite hills of northeastern Sardinia, the beating heart of the Gallura denomination. This wine expresses the Vermentino grape variety at its best, finding a unique terroir here thanks to the Mediterranean climate characterized by warm and breezy summers, ideal for preserving freshness and aromas. After controlled fermentation, the wine matures for a precise period in steel and partly in wood, thus maintaining a balance between minerality and softness.

In the glass, it presents a bright straw yellow color enriched with greenish reflections, while on the nose intense notes of citrus, white flowers, and a delicate scent of Mediterranean aromatic herbs stand out. The palate is fresh, savory, and harmonious, with a persistent finish that reveals the rare minerality of the Gallura territory.

Perfect paired with seafood dishes such as sea urchins, shellfish, and pasta with pesto, this Vermentino invites you on a sensory journey that tells the story of its land with elegance and vigor.

Winery history
The winery was established as an organized business in 2010 to formalize a family winemaking tradition. With the construction of a small, well-equipped cellar, operations shifted from mainly selling bulk wine to bottling. The first bottled vintages were 2014 for the Vermentino "Li Muri" and the red "Bacchjera", while the red aged in barrique "Capidannu" dates back to 2013. The three wines were presented to the public for the first time in June 2015.
Production philosophy
The production approach combines respect for traditional vineyard practices with the adoption of modern winemaking and aging techniques, showcasing the indigenous varieties of Gallura alongside international grape varieties.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located in the Colli del Limbara area, in the portion well suited to Vermentino di Gallura, in a locality named after a small rural chapel dedicated to San Leonardo. The estate and winery are in Calangianus, Sardinia.
