Di Majo Norante's Tintilia DOC represents one of the most authentic and appreciated interpretations of this native vine from Molise, an Italian region less known in the international wine scene but rich in unique viticultural traditions and great potential. The Di Majo Norante winery, located in the heart of Molise, has long been committed to the valorisation of native vines, with particular attention to Tintilia, a vine which has found the ideal habitat in this land to best express its peculiarities.

Tintilia is known for producing wines of great character, with a marked tannic structure, intense fruity aromas and a pleasant freshness, which make it a wine of considerable interest and versatility at the table. The vinification of Di Majo Norante's Tintilia DOC is aimed at enhancing these characteristics, through maceration and fermentation which allow colour, aromas and tannins to be extracted in a balanced way, followed by aging in wood which rounds the wine and adds complexity to its profile gustatory and olfactory.

Visually, Tintilia DOC shows a deep and inviting ruby ​​red color. On the nose, the wine offers a rich and intense aromatic range, dominated by notes of ripe red and black fruits, such as blackberries and plums, enriched by spicy nuances and a light touch of vanilla and tobacco, the result of aging in barrique. These aromas are supported by a subtle balsamic note that adds freshness and complexity to the bouquet.

In the mouth, Di Majo Norante's Tintilia reveals its full structure, with present but well-smooth tannins and an acidity that supports its elegance and drinkability. The palate is enveloped by intense flavors of ripe fruit and spicy accents, which blend into a long and persistent finish, with a pleasant mineral vein that recalls the terroir of origin.

Ideal in combination with red meat dishes, game, mature cheeses and Molise cuisine, Di Majo Norante's Tintilia DOC is an excellent expression of native Molise viticulture, offering a rich and profound tasting experience, which combines tradition and quality , demonstrating the oenological potential of this region and its symbolic grape variety.

Winery history
The Di Majo Norante family has cultivated vines in the Campomarino area for generations. Company records report productions linked to the estate since the 19th century and the presence of historic cellars in the family palazzo. Commercial bottling is cited in the trade press from the second half of the 20th century. In recent decades the estate has promoted local grape varieties and developed certified product lines marketed internationally.
Production philosophy
The estate declares a strong focus on organic agriculture and vineyard biodiversity: low-impact practices, the use of natural fertilizers, cover-crop management and biological pest control. In the cellar the aim is to enhance the characteristics of indigenous grapes with modern techniques applied with respect for the land; investments in photovoltaic systems and the reuse of on-site water for irrigation are also reported.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in the contrada Ramitello in the territory of Campomarino, the estate's vineyards lie at elevations between 100 and 200 meters and are a few kilometres from the coast. The soil is partly clay and partly sandy, influenced by the sea breeze typical of Molise's coastal area.
