Winery history Tenuta Pandolfa

Tenuta Pandolfa is an agricultural estate with centuries-old roots: documents and the company's own communications recount a long agricultural history that included wine, olive oil, honey and various crops. After periods of decline, the estate was progressively relaunched, with renovations to the villa and cellar facilities accompanying a new production phase focused on Sangiovese.

Production philosophy

The company adopts an approach centered on caring for the land and rediscovering traditional agricultural practices, highlighting the landscape and local history. In recent years Pandolfa has moved toward more sustainable forms of agricultural management, including conversion to organic practices and a strong focus on territorial identity in its labels and communications.

Terroir and vineyards

The estate is located in the Predappio subzone. The vineyards cover hills at 80–250 metres above sea level on clay soils of varying texture; the climate is continental with influence from the nearby Adriatic Sea, about 50 km away.
