The Sangiovese di Romagna DOC Pandolfo Riserva from Tenuta Pandolfa is a red wine with a strong identity that is intimately tied to its region of origin, cultivated on the fertile hills of Romagna. This excellent Sangiovese riserva reflects the expertise and passion with which it is produced, creating a rarely replicable oenological masterpiece.

The color of this Sangiovese riserva is a deep, seductive ruby red, with garnet hues that develop over the years. On the nose, it features intense notes of ripe red fruits, plum compote, and brandied cherries, skilfully enveloped in nuances of sweet spices, leather, and a light touch of tobacco that denotes aging in oak barrels.

On the palate, the Pandolfo Riserva exhibits a full, structured body, characterized by elegant and well-integrated tannins that lend the wine pleasant longevity. The balance between acidity and alcohol is impeccable, making every sip harmonious and inviting further tasting. The finish is lingering, with an aftertaste that brings back the spices and red fruits experienced on the nose.

Ideal as an accompaniment to robust dishes of Romagna cuisine, such as tagliatelle with wild boar ragù or aged cheeses, this wine is also surprisingly versatile, pairing exceptionally well with international dishes that require a characterful wine.

The experience at Tenuta Pandolfa promises to capture the essence of Romagna, and the Sangiovese di Romagna DOC Pandolfo Riserva is a clear symbol of this promise, inviting connoisseurs and lovers of fine wine on an unforgettable sensory journey.
