The Barbera D'Alba DOC Superiore from La Ganghija winery represents a splendid expression of the Barbera grape variety, cultivated in the fertile lands of the Alba area in Piedmont. This wine stands out for its extraordinary complexity and aromatic intensity, largely due to the rigorous grape selection process and maturation in barriques which confers an elegant and well-balanced tannic structure.

Visually, the Barbera D'Alba DOC Superiore is characterized by a deep ruby red color with slight garnet reflections that intensify with aging. On the nose, it opens with intense aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherry and blackberry, enriched by nuances of sweet spices, vanilla, and a light toasted touch derived from wood aging.

On the palate, the experience is enveloping and rich, with good acidity typical of the Barbera grape that harmoniously balances with a soft texture and a persistent finish. The tannins are well-structured yet soft, making this wine particularly suitable to accompany flavor-rich dishes such as roasted red meats, mushroom-based dishes, and aged cheeses.

The Barbera D'Alba DOC Superiore by La Ganghija is, without a doubt, a testament to Italian winemaking excellence, where tradition and innovation blend to create wines of profound quality and character. Ideal for lovers of Piedmontese wines or for those seeking a robust yet elegant wine for special occasions.
