Winery history
La Ganghija was established as a winery after Enzo Rapalino, trained at the Scuola Enologica di Alba, decided to transform the family business from selling only grapes to producing wine directly. Since its founding the company has grown steadily, developing a range of wines that express the grapes of the hills of Treiso and the surrounding municipalities.
Production philosophy
The estate prioritizes the expression of terroir, producing well-balanced native wines through practices that combine traditional techniques with modern winemaking controls. Family-run, the estate places strong emphasis on vineyard care and grape quality.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate's headquarters and vineyards are in the municipality of Treiso, in the heart of the Barbaresco DOCG area; the estate states that it also manages vineyards located in the territories of Magliano Alfieri and the hamlet of Madonna di Como.
