The Barbera d'Alba Superiore DOC by Naunda, labeled Bric Cenciurio, is born in the heart of the Piedmont hills, an iconic area for this native grape variety. The vineyard enjoys a sunny exposure and calcareous-clay soils that give structure and freshness to the wine. The aging method involves a period of at least 12 months in oak barrels that confer complexity and softness, enhancing the varietal characteristics of Barbera. In the glass, it appears with an intense and deep ruby red color.

On the nose, a broad and enveloping bouquet emerges, dominated by notes of ripe red fruits – cherry and blackberry – accompanied by delicate spicy and vanilla scents. The taste is lively, fresh, and well balanced, with silky tannins that invite the next sip. Perfect with traditional Piedmont dishes such as braised meats or aged cheeses, this wine expresses the elegance and power typical of Barbera d'Alba Superiore.

Winery history
The winery was established by combining family land around the historic vineyard called "Bric Cenciurio". The enterprise was launched in the early 1990s by Franco Pittatore and his brother-in-law Carlo Sacchetto, and is now carried on by their family members, who manage the vineyards in Barolo, Castellinaldo and Magliano Alfieri.
Production philosophy
Small-scale production: hands-on vineyard care, reduced use of synthetic chemicals, preservation of biodiversity and respect for the natural timing of grape ripening. In the cellar, winemaking techniques that preserve the expressive character of the grape variety and the land are preferred.
Terroir and vineyards
Headquartered in Barolo, with vineyards distributed between the municipality of Barolo and Roero areas such as Castellinaldo and Magliano Alfieri. The name derives from a historic plot in the Roero, an area characterized by marly soils and microclimates typical of the Langhe and the Roero.
