The Barolo Bricco San Pietro Riserva DOCG by Anna Maria Abbona is born in the heart of the Langhe, an area renowned for the production of great Piedmontese wines. It is produced exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes, the flagship vineyard of this denomination. The vinification and aging follow tradition, with a long period in barriques and oak barrels that give the wine complexity and structure.

In the glass, it presents an intense garnet red color, while on the nose it offers aromas rich in ripe red fruits, notes of violet, sweet spices, and an earthy scent typical of the territory. On the palate, it emerges elegant, persistent, with silky tannins and a long, harmonious finish.

Excellent companion for important dishes such as braised meats, roasted red meat, and aged cheeses, this Barolo masterfully represents the viticultural excellence of the Langhe.

Winery history
The story of a farming family from the Langhe that revived local viticulture: after years of mixed farming, management passed to Anna Maria, and she relaunched the estate’s production and the work on its high‑altitude vineyards. The property was rebuilt from the 1990s onwards and the estate has grown to include new vineyards and a presence in Monforte.
Production philosophy
Production focused on respect for the land and the pursuit of elegance and freshness: single-varietal wines that express the specificity of the soil and altitude, made using practices that prioritize craftsmanship, limited use of technology, and a focus on sustainability.
Terroir and vineyards
Langhe: high-altitude vineyards mainly in Farigliano, areas of Alta Langa in Marsaglia and vineyards for Barolo in Monforte d’Alba; calcareous-clay soils and altitudes often above 500 m a.s.l. that enhance freshness and aromaticity.
