The Barolo DOCG Ciabot Mentin from Domenico Clerico is a red wine that conveys the concentration typical of its category without excess. In the glass it shows a deep ruby color with garnet highlights. On the nose it opens with notes of ripe red fruit, dried rose, subtle earthy hints and gentle spices; the aromatic profile is complex yet restrained. On the palate it presents well-integrated tannins, lively acidity and a persistence that encourages attentive tasting.

It is suitable for occasions when a wine with character is desired; a short period of aeration or early opening can enhance its expressiveness. It pairs with red meat dishes, braises, game and aged cheeses, and also complements mushroom-based dishes and flavorful sauces. Serve at a cool temperature (around 16–18°C) and consider decanting depending on the bottle's age. Ideal for those seeking a balanced Barolo with good structure.
