This Brunello di Montalcino DOCG from Tenuta Pian Delle Vigne by Marchesi Antinori shows an elegant, measured profile, suited to those who appreciate the restrained character of the appellation. In the glass there are notes of ripe red fruit and subtle spice hints, supported by a tannic framework that is present yet well integrated, giving structure without overpowering. The acidity is balanced and provides freshness that makes food pairing straightforward. The flavor progression is linear and encourages further sips. The finish is clean and of moderate persistence.

It pairs well with red meat and game dishes, as well as aged cheeses and rustic preparations from the Tuscan tradition. This wine rewards a focused tasting: serve it slightly cooler than room temperature and let it breathe for a few minutes to reveal more of its complexity. Suitable for important dinners or occasions when a controlled, characterful wine without excess is desired.
