Gian Carlo Burlotto’s Barolo DOCG Monvigliero is produced in Verduno, in the heart of the Langhe, from Nebbiolo grapes grown on the municipality’s highest hill. This wine elegantly expresses the character of its prestigious vineyard and native territory. In the glass, it shows a garnet-red color with orangey highlights. Its bouquet is distinctive, ethereal, pleasant and intense, while the palate is dry, full, robust and harmonious.
A 36-month maturation in wood adds complexity and structure. With time in the bottle, the wine develops its finest characteristics. Barolo Monvigliero is well suited to substantial meat dishes and aged cheeses with a pronounced flavor. It is best served between 18 and 20 °C, allowing its aromas, structure and balance to unfold gradually. The stated minimum alcohol level is 13.5% by volume. This is a structured and refined Barolo designed to accompany important meals and mature gracefully in the bottle.
