In the glass it shows garnet hues and an aromatic profile that evokes the dignity of Bussia: dried flowers, sweet cherry, subtle notes of tobacco and white pepper, with an earthy undertone that adds depth. The sip displays a balance between freshness and structure, tannins clearly present yet in harmony with the wine’s body; the impression is decisive without being coarse. The magnum bottle, contained in the wooden case, suggests a wine conceived for evolution and for moments when the wine is the protagonist.

On the palate it is vibrant, with a tannic texture that asks for time to smooth out and a persistence that recalls the fruit and spices perceived on the nose. It suits hearty land-based dishes — roasts, braises, aged cheeses — but also finds a place alongside more complex preparations. A gentle decanting before serving enhances the aromatic profile; for those who enjoy waiting, a few years in the cellar will increase its complexity, yielding an authentic taste with good longevity.
