It shows a fine, direct profile, typical of Bussia Barolos: on the nose there are dried roses, sour cherry and light hints of underbrush, accompanied by notes of sweet spice and a mineral streak. On the palate the wine is dry and composed, with tannins that are present but well integrated into the texture, a lively acidity that supports the fruit and a softness that balances the structure. The progression is measured, never excessive, and gives the wine a composed, elegant character.

There is substance: full-bodied without heaviness and a persistence that invites a second sip; it benefits from a little time in a carafe to release its more complex nuances. It pairs successfully with braised dishes, grilled meats, game and aged cheeses, offering balance between robust flavors and freshness. It prefers being opened at least an hour to express itself at its best and remains an excellent choice for important dinners or for those who appreciate wines with a strong sense of place. Serve at around 16–18 °C; for those with a cellar, this Barolo can evolve gracefully over the years.
