The Cabernet Franc IGT produced by Letrari is a distinctive expression of one of the most popular international grape varieties, successfully grown in the Trentino-Alto Adige region of Italy. The Letrari winery, founded in 1976 and located in Vallagarina, is renowned for its ability to interpret the territory through high quality wines, which combine tradition and innovation.

This Cabernet Franc fits perfectly into Letrari's philosophy, demonstrating how the vine, originating from the Loire region in France, can adapt magnificently to the Trentino climate and soil, expressing unique and distinctive characteristics. The choice to produce it as an IGT (Typical Geographical Indication) reflects the intent to enhance the specificity of the vine and its local adaptation, while maintaining great flexibility in the winemaking process.

Letrari's Cabernet Franc has a bright ruby red color, which invites tasting. On the nose, this wine offers an intense and complex aromatic bouquet, where notes of red and black fruits stand out, such as raspberries, currants and a light spiciness, typical of Cabernet Franc. There is no shortage of fresh vegetal hints, reminiscent of green pepper, a distinctive characteristic of this vine.

In the mouth, Letrari's Cabernet Franc IGT reveals a well-balanced structure, with soft tannins and a lively acidity that gives freshness and drinkability. The fruity flavors and vegetal nuances integrate harmoniously with a light note of wood, the result of a skilful use of the barriques which never overpowers the varietal expression.

Ideal as an accompaniment to meat dishes, both red and white, vegetable-based preparations and medium-aged cheeses, Letrari's Cabernet Franc IGT is a wine that stands out for its elegance and versatility, capable of satisfying Cabernet lovers Franc looking for territorial interpretations of this noble vine.
