The Cabernet Sauvignon Cabrit I Bassa from Bodega Oloron is a red wine that emphasizes the clear expression of the variety. In the glass it shows an intense ruby color with reflections suggesting concentration without excess. On the nose there are notes of dark berries, such as blackcurrant and plum, accompanied by herbal hints and light spicy touches. The olfactory approach is direct and straightforward, suited to those seeking an honest interpretation of Cabernet without overlapping elements.

On the palate it displays medium body, tannins that are present but well integrated, and a structure that supports the drinking; the acidity keeps the wine harmonious and readable. The finish is dry, with fruity memories and a slight persistence that invites a second sip. It pairs with not overly elaborate red meat dishes, hard cheeses and grilled preparations; serving at a cool cellar temperature is recommended. Produced by Bodega Oloron, it is intended for everyday consumption and for those who appreciate the character of Cabernet Sauvignon in an authentic way.
