Los Vascos Cabernet Sauvignon is a representative example of the quality and character of the wines produced in the Colchagua Valley, Chile. Los Vascos is an estate that is part of the prestigious portfolio of properties of the Rothschild (Lafite) family, known for producing of some of the best wines in the world. Los Vascos' commitment to viticulture and wine production reflects the high quality standard and innovative approach characteristic of the Rothschilds.

Los Vascos Cabernet Sauvignon stands out for its structure, elegance and aromatic intensity. This wine benefits from the ideal climatic conditions of the Colchagua Valley, where warm days and cool nights favor optimal ripening of the grapes, ensuring a good concentration of aromas and a pleasant freshness.

Winemaking aims to preserve the varietal characteristics of Cabernet Sauvignon, emphasizing fruit, balance and tannic softness. The wine can be aged in oak barriques for a variable period, in order to add complexity and depth without overpowering the fruity and varietal character.

At sight, Los Vascos Cabernet Sauvignon has an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it offers a rich bouquet of aromas, with dominant notes of red and black fruits, such as cassis, cherries and blueberries, enriched by nuances of spices, aromatic herbs and a light touch of vanilla and chocolate, deriving from the aging in wood.

In the mouth, the wine is full and round, with ripe and well-integrated tannins that support a solid structure. The acidity is well balanced, contributing to the freshness and length of the sip. The finish is persistent, with a pleasant return of the fruity and spicy notes perceptible on the nose.

Ideal in combination with red meats, lamb-based dishes, game and mature cheeses, Los Vascos Cabernet Sauvignon is a wine that expresses Chile's potential in producing high-quality Cabernet Sauvignon, capable of competing with the best producers at the level international.
