The Los Vascos Cabernet Sauvignon from the winery stands out for its robust elegance and intense varietal expression. This wine comes from the lush valleys of Chile, where the temperate climate and well-drained soil offer ideal conditions for the maturation of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.

In the glass, Los Vascos Cabernet Sauvignon presents a deep and vibrant ruby red color. On the nose, it displays a complex bouquet of aromas ranging from classic notes of ripe red fruits, such as currants and blueberries, to nuances of spices and herbal hints, enriched by a light and pleasant touch of vanilla and chocolate, derived from aging in barrique.

On the palate, the wine reveals a solid and well-balanced structure, with mature yet lively tannins that support a full and round body. The acidity is well integrated and contributes to the freshness of the sip, while the finish is persistent and leaves pleasant sensations of red fruit and light toasty notes.

Los Vascos Cabernet Sauvignon is a wine that can be enjoyed immediately, but also has excellent aging potential. It pairs beautifully with grilled red meats, robust meat-based dishes, and aged cheeses.

This wine represents the essence of the Cabernet Sauvignon variety grown in Chile, best expressing the local terroir and the mastery of Los Vascos winery in elevating this grape to a level of international excellence. A true gem for wine lovers seeking quality and character in every sip.

Located in Peralillo, Colchagua Valley, an area renowned for the excellence of Cabernet Sauvignon in Chile. Flagship 'Le Dix' line and ranges such as Grande Réserve and Cromas. Strong focus on vineyard management, the local ecosystem, and the well-being of the rural community. Production of both mass-market wines and labels for ageing and reserve.
Winery history
The estate's modern origins are linked to the acquisition by Domaines Barons de Rothschild. With historic local roots in the Peralillo area, the estate was developed and enhanced under DBR Lafite's management to express the potential of the Chilean terroir within the context of the French winemaking tradition.
Production philosophy
An approach that combines DBR Lafite's expertise and methods with local Chilean practices: meticulous vineyard care, selection of historic parcels, and attention to the ecosystem and surrounding rural community, with production ranging from widely distributed lines to more prestigious cuvées.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate is located in the Peralillo district, in the Colchagua Valley, between the Coastal Range and the Andes, about 200 km southwest of Santiago. The vineyards lie in a cooler part of the valley, benefiting from maritime influence; the soils cited in the technical sheets are mainly clays over 'tosca' bedrock.
