Chardonnay - Los Vascos is a representative example of the excellence and quality that characterize Chilean wine production. Los Vascos is a wine estate that is part of the prestigious Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) group, known for producing high-quality wines in several parts of the world. Located in the Colchagua Valley region, one of Chile's most renowned areas for viticulture, Los Vascos benefits from ideal climatic conditions and soils that favor the cultivation of international grape varieties, including Chardonnay.

The Chardonnay produced by Los Vascos stands out for its fresh and fruity style, with an approach that favors the purity of the varietal and the expression of the terroir. This wine is usually vinified in stainless steel to preserve the aromatic characteristics of the grape, although some may be aged in barrique to add complexity and structure without overpowering the fruit profile.

At sight, Chardonnay - Los Vascos has a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, it offers a rich and inviting aromatic bouquet, with notes of tropical fruit, such as pineapple and mango, citrus accents, and floral nuances, which combine in an elegant and complex olfactory profile. In the mouth, the wine is balanced and harmonious, with good acidity that supports its freshness and a fruity palate that faithfully reflects the olfactory sensations. The finish is clean and pleasantly persistent, with a light mineral aftertaste that adds further depth.

Chardonnay - Los Vascos is versatile at the table, capable of accompanying a wide range of dishes, from seafood to grilled fish, from fresh salads to soft cheeses. Its freshness also makes it an excellent aperitif, perfect for starting a meal or for convivial occasions.

Winery history
The estate's modern origins are linked to the acquisition by Domaines Barons de Rothschild. Production philosophy
An approach that combines DBR Lafite's expertise and methods with local Chilean practices: meticulous vineyard care, selection of historic parcels, and attention to the ecosystem and surrounding rural community, with production ranging from widely distributed lines to more prestigious cuvées.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate is located in the Peralillo district, in the Colchagua Valley, between the Coastal Range and the Andes, about 200 km southwest of Santiago.
