The Cannubi Barolo DOCG 2021 by Giacomo Fenocchio, in an elegant magnum format with a wooden case, offers a profile that combines finesse and energy. On the nose there are aromas of ripe small red fruits, rose petals and earthy nuances, with a subtle hint of spice that does not overpower the fruit.

On the palate there is a well-balanced relationship between freshness and structure: the sip is taut, the tannins are present but polished, the acidic framework gives drive and the persistence invites a second taste without feeling heavy. This Barolo is suitable both for immediate enjoyment and for moderate cellaring, where the magnum format encourages harmonious development. Serve it at around 16–18 °C in large glasses to allow the aromas to unfold; it pairs satisfyingly with structured red meat dishes, braises and aged cheeses, but also stands up to more savory preparations that demand concentration and character. The wooden case emphasizes the occasion: ideal for a shared tasting or a refined gift.
