Pairing Fish and seafood
In the glass it shows a fine, steady bead and an elegant mousse, pale straw-yellow with green highlights. On the nose it opens with notes of white flowers, citrus peel and a hint of fresh bread; overall it offers fragrant delicacy and good aromatic intensity. The palate is dry, fresh and savory, with well-integrated acidity that supports the structure and gives a medium-long finish. The bubbles are lively yet well judged, adding creaminess on the palate without weighing it down.

It suits celebratory moments when served in magnum, but also works as a refined aperitif or alongside delicate seafood dishes, natural shellfish and vegetable-based starters. To enhance its balance, serve chilled in flutes or wider glasses to release the aromas; avoid temperatures that are too low which can mute the scents. Storage: keep the bottle in a cool, stable place if not consumed, and drink within a reasonable time once opened. Ruinart presents this Blanc de Blancs with a sober, clean style.
The winery

Ruinart – Winery in Champagne (Reims)

Discover the story and wines of Ruinart.

Maison Ruinart, the oldest established Champagne house, founded on 1 September 1729 in Reims; renowned for a Chardonnay-driven style and its historic chalk cellars (crayères).
Region: Champagne (Reims)
Country: France
Winery history
Founded on 1 September 1729 by Nicolas Ruinart, inspired by the monk Dom Thierry Ruinart. In the 18th century the House acquired the underground crayères in Reims for ageing; the family became Ruinart de Brimont in 1817. The House continues its historic activity in Reims and the Champagne region.
Production philosophy
Pursuit of elegance with Chardonnay as the emblematic grape, care for terroir and living soils, commitment to sustainable viticulture (HVE and Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne certifications), collaborations with the arts, and innovation in eco‑designed packaging (e.g. "Seconde Peau").
Terroir and vineyards
Champagne region (France): grapes come mainly from the Côte des Blancs and the northern slopes of the Montagne de Reims. Historic vineyards include Sillery (Grand Cru) and Taissy (Premier Cru). The historic crayères are dug beneath Reims.
