The Champagne Cuvée Premier Cru of Hyppolite, crafted by Maison Yves Loison, is an elegant expression of the famous Champagne region, obtained from vineyards classified as Premier Cru. This champagne is born from a careful selection of grapes grown in limestone-rich terroirs, which impart freshness and minerality to the final product.

The winemaking method follows the classic Champagne tradition, with a second fermentation in the bottle that gives this cuvée fine perlage and aromatic complexity. On the nose, it opens with fragrant notes of citrus, white flowers, and light nuances of bread crust, while on the palate it is balanced, with delicate acidity and a slender body that leaves a pleasant and fresh persistence.

Perfect as an aperitif, it pairs splendidly with fish dishes, shellfish, or soft cheeses, enhancing every bite with its vibrant elegance and refinement.

Discover the story and wines of Maison Yves Loison.

A small Champagne house with vineyards around Prouilly and Vandeuil (Massif de Saint-Thierry), run by the Loison family. It produces parcel-specific cuvées and blends characterised by the expression of the terroir.
Region: Champagne
Country: Francia
Founded: 1978
Grapes: Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir
Vineyard of approximately 5 hectares spread between Prouilly and Vandeuil. Cuvée "Senlis Vieilles Vignes" praised by critics. Range of bottles available in the official online shop. Some cuvées are aged in oak barrels or spend extended time on the lees for greater complexity.
Winery history
The Loison family has been growing vines for generations; their commercial label was launched by Yves Loison in the late 1970s. In recent years management has passed to Clovis Loison, who has introduced new ideas while maintaining traditional winemaking practices and the enhancement of individual parcels.
Production philosophy
Small-scale quality focus: highlighting the local terroir through parcel-specific cuvées and careful blends; some cuvées are aged in wood or spend extended time on the lees to develop complexity and finesse.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards located in the communes of Prouilly and Vandeuil, on the Saint‑Thierry massif northwest of Reims, with clay‑limestone soils that contribute freshness and structure to the cuvées.
