The Champagne R de Ruinart in a 375 ml format conveys the restrained elegance of Maison Ruinart in a compact bottle, suitable for an intimate tasting or a short meal. It shows fine, persistent bubbles and a luminous straw-yellow color. On the nose it offers delicate, subtle aromas with floral hints and citrus notes, supported by a lightly biscuity background that enriches the bouquet without overpowering it.

On the palate it is balanced and readily drinkable, with a creamy texture and a freshness that supports the sip. Its intensity is measured, making it pleasant both as an aperitif and paired with light dishes based on fish, shellfish and fresh cheeses; it also works well with small fruit-based desserts. Serve well chilled in a flute or a not-too-wide glass to appreciate its effervescence and aromatic finesse. The 375 ml bottle is practical for couples or small gatherings.

Ruinart – Winery in Champagne (Reims)

Discover the story and wines of Ruinart.

Maison Ruinart, the oldest established Champagne house, founded on 1 September 1729 in Reims; renowned for a Chardonnay-driven style and its historic chalk cellars (crayères).
Region: Champagne (Reims)
Country: France
Winery history
Founded on 1 September 1729 by Nicolas Ruinart, inspired by the monk Dom Thierry Ruinart. In the 18th century the House acquired the underground crayères in Reims for ageing; the family became Ruinart de Brimont in 1817. The House continues its historic activity in Reims and the Champagne region.
Production philosophy
Pursuit of elegance with Chardonnay as the emblematic grape, care for terroir and living soils, commitment to sustainable viticulture (HVE and Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne certifications), collaborations with the arts, and innovation in eco‑designed packaging (e.g. "Seconde Peau").
Terroir and vineyards
Champagne region (France): grapes come mainly from the Côte des Blancs and the northern slopes of the Montagne de Reims. Historic vineyards include Sillery (Grand Cru) and Taissy (Premier Cru). The historic crayères are dug beneath Reims.
