Pairing Vegetable dishes and cheese
The Champagne R de Ruinart in Jeroboam format, presented in a Ruinart wooden case, shows a fine perlage and lively presence. On the nose it offers a balanced profile with notes of white flowers, citrus peel and a subtle hint of toasted bread that adds depth without dominating. On the palate it is structured yet elegant, with good drinkability, making it suitable for shared moments and celebrations.

The Jeroboam capacity makes it ideal for large tables or for extended service; the wooden case provides a refined presentation and protects the bottle during transport. Serve chilled in wide glasses to appreciate its aromas; it pairs well with fish starters, shellfish, creamy preparations or delicate dishes and is also an elegant choice for toasts and corporate gifts. Its progression leaves a clean, persistent finish, suited to both festive and more formal settings.

Ruinart – Winery in Champagne (Reims)

Discover the story and wines of Ruinart.

Maison Ruinart, the oldest established Champagne house, founded on 1 September 1729 in Reims; renowned for a Chardonnay-driven style and its historic chalk cellars (crayères).
Region: Champagne (Reims)
Country: France
Winery history
Founded on 1 September 1729 by Nicolas Ruinart, inspired by the monk Dom Thierry Ruinart. In the 18th century the House acquired the underground crayères in Reims for ageing; the family became Ruinart de Brimont in 1817. The House continues its historic activity in Reims and the Champagne region.
Production philosophy
Pursuit of elegance with Chardonnay as the emblematic grape, care for terroir and living soils, commitment to sustainable viticulture (HVE and Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne certifications), collaborations with the arts, and innovation in eco‑designed packaging (e.g. "Seconde Peau").
Terroir and vineyards
Champagne region (France): grapes come mainly from the Côte des Blancs and the northern slopes of the Montagne de Reims. Historic vineyards include Sillery (Grand Cru) and Taissy (Premier Cru). The historic crayères are dug beneath Reims.
