An elegant expression of Chassagne-Montrachet by Philippe Bouzereau, with a fresh profile and good substance. On the nose it offers ripe white fruit, peach and pear, with delicate citrus notes and a hint of white flowers; a slight minerality reminiscent of wet stone is perceptible. On the palate it is taut and well balanced: the structure is slender yet present, freshness supports a discreet creaminess and a salinity that extends the sip. Tannins, if present, are rarely noticeable, leaving room for a finish of good persistence that recalls fruity echoes and lightly toasted notes.

Serve cool but not cold to appreciate its aromas and texture; it suits a structured but not heavy meal. It works very well with richer fish dishes, shellfish in delicate sauces, white meats and soft cheeses; also ideal as a convivial bottle when you want elegance without excess. A Chassagne to be enjoyed slowly, expressing balance and finesse without exaggerated gestures.
