Chateau Prieure Lichine - Margaux is a red wine that reflects the classic character of the Margaux appellation. In the glass it shows a lively ruby colour, with aromas that may recall ripe red fruit, light floral nuances and spicy hints. The palate is balanced, supported by tannins that are present but well integrated and by a freshness that gives the sip fluidity. The whole convinces more for its harmony than for marked intensity, offering pleasantness and a certain elegance as it develops on the palate.

It pairs discreetly with everyday dishes and preparations of medium complexity: grilled red meats, braised game, mushroom-based dishes and semi-firm or aged cheeses. It is advisable to serve it at a moderate temperature, around 16–18 °C, and to allow a few minutes of breathing to better express the aromas. For those seeking an approachable, versatile Margaux red, this wine offers a measured and enjoyable proposition, suitable for both informal dinners and more intimate moments.

Winery history

Terroir and vineyards
