The Chianti Classico DOCG Tenuta Pèppoli from Marchesi Antinori offers a recognizable, restrained profile. Ruby red in color, it opens with scents of ripe red fruit, light floral notes and subtle spice; on the palate it shows a balance of freshness and present tannins, supported by a saline texture. The progression is linear and defined, with an aromatic return recalling cherry and small red berries, accompanied by a slight earthy note.

A versatile wine, it suits informal dinners and traditional dishes alike, such as pasta with meat sauces, grilled meats and medium‑aged cheeses. Serve at a moderate temperature to enhance its aromas; briefly opening it in advance promotes expressiveness. It lends itself both to near‑term consumption and to moderate cellaring for those wishing to observe its evolution, while remaining cautious about storage, without excess.
