The Chianti Montalbano Riserva DOCG from Artimino shows an elegant, restrained profile. In the glass it displays an intense ruby color with ripe highlights; the nose offers impressions of red and dark fruit, subtle sweet spice notes, a herbaceous hint and traces of undergrowth. On the palate it is balanced, with present but well-integrated tannins, a lively acidity that supports the drinking experience, and a medium-long persistence. Overall it conveys composure rather than excessive power, suited to those seeking balance and clear expression.

It pairs well with traditional Italian dishes: grilled meats, ragù, aged cheeses, as well as mushroom-based recipes or stews. Serve at a moderate temperature around 16-18°C; decant or open a little earlier if you want more aromatic openness. It is a wine to enjoy now but capable of revealing further nuances after a few years of cellarage under suitable conditions. Packaging and commercial offer handled by the producer Artimino.
