On the palate it displays structure and roundness, with clear but well-integrated tannins and acidity that supports the sip without overpowering. The persistence is pleasant, with fruity echoes and a dry finish.

It pairs well with red meat dishes, roasts and aged cheeses, as well as savory preparations with mushrooms or intense sauces. It is recommended to serve it at around 16–18 °C and, for those who wish, to open the bottle a few dozen minutes before serving to better appreciate the aromas. Its versatility makes it suitable both for important dinners and for informal convivial gatherings.
