The Ser Biagio Barco Reale di Carmignano DOC from Artimino in magnum format is a red wine that bears the name of the Barco Reale di Carmignano denomination. It presents a measured character, favoring balance over excess, suitable for those seeking a bottle with a restrained style. The label and producer suggest a link to local tradition; the magnum makes it appropriate for convivial occasions and for those who want a bottle with a more imposing presence than the standard format.

On the nose one can find notes of ripe fruit, subtle spicy hints and a touch of minerality; on the palate it shows moderate structure, tannins that are present but not aggressive and acidity that supports the sip. It is advisable to serve it slightly cool and, if desired, to open the bottle a little in advance to encourage aromatic development. It pairs with meat dishes, roasts, stews and semi-firm to hard cheeses, proving versatile at everyday meals or at dinners where a larger-format bottle is intended to be shared.
