The Clos De Vougeot Grand Cru produced by Domaines Faiveley is a wine that embodies the essence and nobility of Burgundy, an iconic region for Pinot Noir lovers from all over the world. Located in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, the Clos de Vougeot vineyard is historic, surrounded by walls that date back to the 12th century, bearing witness to centuries of viticultural dedication. Maison Faiveley, with its long history and deep knowledge of the region, treats these grapes with the utmost respect, producing a wine of extraordinary complexity and finesse.

The Clos de Vougeot terroir is known for its geological diversity, which contributes to the richness and variety of Pinot Noir styles that can be found there. Domaines Faiveley carefully manage their portion of the vineyard, applying sustainable practices to enhance the quality of the fruit and faithfully reflect the unique characteristics of the terroir.

Upon tasting, the Clos De Vougeot Grand Cru reveals a deep ruby red color, a prelude to a complex and inviting nose. The aromatic notes range from ripe red fruits, such as cherries and wild strawberries, to floral nuances of rose and violet, enriched by delicate accents of spices, chocolate and a subtle touch of oak, the result of balanced aging in barrique.

In the mouth, the wine demonstrates incomparable elegance, with silky tannins and a well-defined structure that promises excellent aging potential. The balance is impeccable, with a lively acidity that intertwines perfectly with the aromatic richness, leading to a long and memorable finish, which leaves an imprint of purity and refinement.

The Clos De Vougeot Grand Cru by Domaines Faiveley is a meditation wine, which expresses itself best accompanied by equally refined dishes: delicate red meats, dishes based on wild mushrooms or soft, mature cheeses. Its complexity and depth make it an ideal candidate for special occasions, where it can be appreciated for its ability to evolve and reveal new nuances as time passes.

This Grand Cru is a testament to the winemaking art of Domaines Faiveley, a symbol of Burgundy excellence, which continues to enchant and inspire oenophiles and collectors around the world.
