Cont’ugo Bolgheri DOC Jeroboam in wooden case is an offering from Tenuta Guado al Tasso by Marchesi Antinori, emphasizing its link to the Bolgheri area. It presents as a red wine of character, intended for those who appreciate an impressive bottle: the jeroboam format provides presence for special occasions, while the wooden case aids storage and transport. The Bolgheri DOC designation confirms origin and connection to the territory, without specifying vintage or grape varieties.

In the glass there are impressions of ripe fruit, spicy notes and a perceived balance between structure and softness, qualities often appreciated in Bolgheri reds. It is suitable for serving at convivial occasions or to accompany flavorful dishes based on meat, aged cheeses and grilled preparations: pairing suggestions to be adapted to the meal. Before serving it may benefit from a short decanting to open up; recommended serving temperature is around 16–18 °C. The wooden case also makes it suitable as a gift, while ideal storage conditions remain a cool place protected from light.
