Cont’ugo Bolgheri DOC della Tenuta Guado al Tasso (Marchesi Antinori) is a red wine that combines structure and freshness in a measured way. The color is deep, with ruby highlights; on the nose it offers a weave of ripe dark fruit, light spice notes and a hint of Mediterranean herbaceousness. The overall impression is composed and not overpowering, with aromas that develop as the glass opens. The olfactory profile stays on fruit tones, sweet spices and a mineral touch that gives clarity and cleanliness to the bouquet.

On the palate it shows medium-full body, tannins that are present but well integrated, and a savory progression that supports the sip. The ripe fruit returns, accompanied by discrete freshness that avoids heaviness, and the finish is consistent with the aromatic profile, persistent without force. It pairs with meat dishes, aged cheeses or flavorful preparations, taking into account serving temperature and the liveliness of the menu. A wine to consider for its balance and stylistic correctness.
