A Cortese in reserve form that carries the tangible character of its terroir: five years of aging have softened the youthful edges, leaving a wine of depth, sapidity and a composed profile. In the glass it shows a pale golden hue; on the nose it offers aromas of ripe fruit and citrus peel, accompanied by more tertiary notes such as toasted almond and a slight hint of dried flowers. Freshness remains lively, but it integrates with a pleasant roundness that provides balance and an enveloping sip.

On the palate it displays structure and persistence without feeling heavy: acidity supports drinkability while a mineral thread accompanies the finish. It is a wine that asks for dishes with personality — baked fish, flavorful white meats and aged cheeses pair well — and it is also suited to moments of enological contemplation. 50 cl format, by Mazzetti, ideal served slightly chilled to appreciate the evolved nuances without losing vivacity.
